Confirm the equipment configuration
For Hyster, Kalmar, Linde, Toyota, SANY or Hangcha equipment, send the exact model and battery-compartment measurements. Confirm the required battery weight, connector layout and cable route. A brand name or nominal voltage does not establish that a pack is a drop-in replacement.

Assess a lead-acid to lithium conversion
Compare the proposed pack with the truck's approved battery requirements, including mass, dimensions and electrical connections. Ask the truck and battery suppliers to confirm installation details and charger compatibility. Assess charging-area requirements for the actual installation; a chemistry change does not establish that the battery room can be removed.

Plan charging around heavy-duty shifts
Describe the work the truck does during each shift: load weights, travel, lifting work and periods when it is parked. Identify the charging breaks that are available in practice. This gives the supplier a duty cycle to assess instead of assuming continuous operation from a capacity rating.
Provide the charger model and output label, site power information and any battery communication requirements. Ask for a charging plan for the proposed pack and operating conditions. Keep the pack, charger and truck instructions together for the maintenance team.

How long will the pack run?
Runtime depends on load, travel, lifting work, temperature and the charging schedule. Request a model-specific assessment using the measured duty cycle. Do not treat a fixed shift duration or a single-pack operating plan as a guarantee for every heavy truck.
What conditions should be included in the enquiry?
State whether the equipment works indoors, outdoors, in port service or near steel-mill processes. Describe temperature, dust and water exposure. Ask for the proposed model's protection ratings, operating limits and supporting documentation before selecting it for the application.
What information is needed for a quote?
Send the forklift brand and model, voltage, required Ah, tray length, width and height, connector type and daily shift hours. Include photographs of the battery label, tray and connections.
