Lead-acid to lithium conversion

A conversion needs more than equal nominal voltage. Check the available compartment space, required battery weight, electrical connections and charger profile. Ask the battery and truck suppliers to confirm the proposed configuration before replacing the original pack. Charging-area requirements must be assessed for the installation; a chemistry change does not establish that the battery room can be removed.

How long will the battery run?

Runtime depends on the truck, load, travel, lifting work and temperature. Share these conditions and the charging schedule when requesting a capacity recommendation. A capacity rating alone does not establish a full-shift runtime.

Can I keep my existing charger?

Ask the battery and charger suppliers to confirm the charging profile and any communication requirements for the proposed pack. Do not assume the same nominal voltage makes the charger compatible.
