Choosing a Lithium Battery for a Walkie Pallet Truck: A Fitment Checklist
A battery for a walkie pallet truck or stacker must fit the truck—not just its case. The Little King Kong lithium battery family covers mainstream HELI, Lida, Jiali, JAC, Lonking, Tailifu, Baoli, EP, Noblelift and Hangcha lines. That does not make every model interchangeable: shells can differ by channel, and appearance alone cannot confirm fit.
Check before ordering
Record the truck’s brand and exact model/variant. Take system voltage and rated Ah from the manual or plate, not a photo. For a runtime change, include shift hours, load pattern and charging windows.
Measure usable tray length, width and height. Compare them with a verified drawing, checking case shape, cable exit, removal/retention clearance and pack weight against truck limits. Hand measurements are a screening check, not factory tolerances.
Send front and side connector photos. Verify keying, pinout, polarity and cable direction; a plug can mate and still be electrically wrong. Do not cut or repin it. Check charger output, current and profile against the battery requirements. If the truck uses BMS/CAN, confirm the interface, pinout and controller/display handshake.
Send the supplier
- Truck brand, exact model/variant, voltage and Ah
- Tray dimensions, clearances and weight limit
- Connector photos and verified pinout
- Charger specs and charging profile
- BMS/CAN and controller requirements
- Shift pattern and charging windows when sizing runtime
Ask the supplier to confirm the configuration for that exact truck. Before routine use, compare labels with the approved specification; have a qualified person check retention, clearance, connector and charger/interface behavior. If anything is unclear, pause. Neither a brand name nor a shell photo approves a substitute.
